Jeff Caperton Biography
Jeff Caperton is an all-around talent who has been involved in acting, producing stunts. He is the Managing Partner and Executive Producer at Bitter End Media Group located in Los Angeles, California. This company is engaged in the production of feature films and documentaries.

In 2016 Caperton together with his partner Mark Burman created “ Dog Eat Dog”, but the film was directed by four times Oscar winners Paul Schrader. With the starring of Oscar winners Nicolas Cage and Willem Dafoe, it had its world premiere at Cannes International Film Festival where it got an award – Directors Fortnight Award. 8th November, it was released nationwide in theaters.
In the same year, Caperton and Mark Burman also premiered their much touted documentary “South Bureau Homicide,” about Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Precinct. In September, Sony Television reached an agreement to develop “South Bureau” into a dramatic television series. First of all, Caperton’s team is preparing several projects now; among them there will be the film based on Caleb Carr’s book “Devil’s Soldier” with Oscar-winning Director Antoine Fuqua.
In addition to directing, Caperton is an actor who has appeared with movie stars Mark Wahlberg, Will Ferrell Kurt Russell Kate Hudson Tommy Lee Jones Kevin Hart Woody Harrelson and Brad Pitt in major films such as “Deepwater Horizon”, The Big Short“, Daddy’s Home. He also had a recurring role on the television show NCIS New Orleans for two.

1984 saw the beginning of Caperton’s career with ABC News in Los Angeles, where he covered and produced stories for shows like “World News Tonight,” “Nightline,” 20/20 ,” and IRrtimes Good Morning America. In 1986 his work on Mexico City Earthquake helped him to win an Emmy Award as 2015 saw Caperton’s team produce the TV movie The Heart of Christmas, which was nominated for an Emmy Award.
His present home is in Houston, Texas and he has produced an urban crime drama entitled “Be Someone,” starring Tisha Campbell-Martinh, Jamal Dennisk , Khalil Kaink among others. The show is scheduled to be aired in Fall 2021, and Caperton also appears for seconds as Captain Johnson.
